Hargreaves-Adams bought Fenn Wright Manson out of administration in 2012 for an undisclosed sum and a year later bought a 50% stake in womenswear brand Damsel in a Dress together with her father, Matalan founder John Hargreaves.
Damsel in a Dress was launched in 2010 by Alison Mansell, Amanda Seabourne and Marshall Doctors. Seabourne and Doctors founded high street womenswear supplier Amanda Marshall, which works with retailers including Phase Eight, Marks & Spencer, Boden and Laura Ashley.
Amanda Marshall has now redesigned the Fenn Wright Manson collection, which includes dresses priced from £109 to £189 and jumpers from £89 to £129.
It has been launched in 18 John Lewis stores, seven House of Fraser stores, one Arnotts and two Brown Thomas stores in Ireland this week. It also has a standalone website but there are no plans to wholesale it at the moment.s
